Melissa Mills McLoota, a co-owner and principal consultant of HR Link, holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Melissa has been in the field of human resources for twelve years in a variety of capacities. In addition to broad based knowledge of general employment practices, Melissa has built considerable

expertise in leadership training and organizational development. Melissa is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys helping organizations meet challenges caused by cultural and linguistic differences. She serves on the board of High Country Human Resources Association (HCHRA, a local SHRM chapter), and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, she moved to Colorado in 1997. She was immediately taken by the landscape, the lifestyle, and the community, and has been happy to call the Vail Valley home ever since. Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young sons.
